Plant-Based For 4 Reasons

The question I get asked the most is why I have chosen a plant-based lifestyle. 🌱

Here are my reasons and please share yours. 💚
1️⃣ For optimal health
The right nutrition can help prevent and heal disease.
2️⃣For longevity
Look young, feel great and have natural energy. Who doesn’t want to live a long life if they are in good health?
3️⃣ To save the animals
Stop inducing fear and promoting violence.
4️⃣ To reduce the impact on climate change
Reducing meat consumption is one of the biggest changes you can make to the planet.

Do it for yourself, for the animals and the planet. 🌱

🥬Kale is an incredible powerful leafy vegetable, nutritionally packed and an anti-cancer powerhouse.

🥦Broccoli is great for protecting against heart disease and also for building strong muscles and bones.

🍅Tomatoes are an excellent source of lycopene, which is knowing to help prevent many types of cancers.

🧅Onions are the richest source of quercetin, which is shown to lower cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes and much more.

🥒Cucumbers contain high fiber, hydrating electrolytes and have wonderful anti-inflammatory benefits.

Benefits Of Lemon Water

The best time to drink it and how to consume it.💛

🍋The best time to drink lemon water is first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach. You should wait at least 20 minutes before eating or drinking anything else.

🍋 Drinking lemon water is an excellent way to hydrate, refresh and cleanse the body first thing in the morning. It is an excellent tonic and can help to detoxify the entire body.

🍋It is particularly beneficial first thing in the morning because it is especially effective for cleansing the liver, which works while we sleep to gather and purge toxins from the body.

🍋Ideally, the water should be room temperature. Cold or warm water is ok too, however hot water may destroy some the lemon enzymes and properties.

What is your favorite winter activity? Mine is snowboarding. 🏂 It is fun as well as a great workout to strengthen and tone lower body muscles.

Skiing is more popular than snowboarding.⛷️Skiing is generally easier to learn initially, but harder to master.🎿Snowboarding is the opposite; harder to learn, but reaching an advanced level is easier.🏂 Which one do you prefer? ❄️
